Comprehensive Dental Care
A great routine basically comes, always comes from making sure that your teeth, the cleaning things that need to happen are addressed, whether it’s gingivitis, whether there is some periodontal disease. The foundation of your teeth is always the most important thing that we talk about here in the practice. As my wise father has told me in the past, he said that, “It doesn’t matter how nice the shingles are on your roof. If the basement’s full of water, that’s a problem.” So we always wanna make sure the foundation, which is the health of the gums and the bone that supports the teeth, is healthy as we can. Once we’ve done that, then we can focus on the teeth and addressing the areas of decay, addressing any areas that need support because they’re broken down, whatever that might be.
Or anything that’s missing, that needs to be replaced, be it through implants, bridges, whatever, whatever the situation dictates. But ultimately, it’s a matter of, in essence, having a process where we’re not just saying, “Oh, we’re cherry-picking this and that.” It’s always… Basically, it’s a healthy foundation built from the bottom up so that we can… We want our patients to have their teeth as long as they want ’em and then some. If someone has not been to the dentist in a time or they have, it doesn’t matter. I mean, ultimately we feel that this is a great place for you. We’d be thrilled for you to give us the trust, ’cause it is trust for you to come into our office, and we respect that. So we would encourage you, give us a call, come in and see us, find out that there is a difference. Find out that going to the dentist can be okay. In fact, it can be much better than okay. It can be fun. It can be.
