A Handcrafted, Beautiful Smile
Well, dentures are still done. There still are patients that for whatever reason don’t have all their teeth or only have part of their teeth, and they need to have options. Dentures are an option to replace missing teeth. The upside to it is it does replace teeth. The downside is that it’s removable. It doesn’t stay in all the time. There are also cases where we do partial dentures where we have some teeth that we can function with, but not all of them. The truth is that we can improve the ability to eat and to function. We do that a lot. We do that a lot here. It’s the opportunity where someone, either their teeth have been so in such bad shape that literally they have to function, their life is different, what they can eat. They say, “I can’t eat that. I can’t eat that. Basically, I have to drink most of my meals.” And that’s not fun for anybody. But to give someone the opportunity where they can eat and actually chew food, that’s great.
The other thing with dentures is there are implant-supported dentures, which can give people amazing function where in essence they can eat whatever it is they want. And that’s the best thing because that’s as close to your natural teeth as you can ever get, if you’ve lost your teeth or are losing teeth, is an implant-supported denture. That allows you to function, eat, and have the aesthetics that you’d like and want. And those cases are out there. The opportunities are there. We’ve done them here, and we can do that for you.
